Lidl GB would like your views on proposals for a new Lidl foodstore and residential development on land off Lower Road, Aylesbury.
Lidl intends to submit a hybrid planning application on the site seeking detailed approval for the Lidl store to serve the existing and growing local community, on the southern section of the site. Outline approval will be sought for approximately 54 residential properties on the remainder of the site, which would make a positive contribution to the pressing need for housing in the local area and accord with the current Local Plan allocation. Detailed proposals for the new homes will come forward at a later date, however, the Outline Application will establish the principle of the residential element on site.
A new Lidl store would provide better access to our high-quality and affordable products for residents in the south of Aylesbury and create around 40 new local jobs.
